ABOUT

Molly Nicholson is an electronic/ambient singer, songwriter and producer from Oxford deriving inspiration from the likes of Sylvan Esso, Henry Green, Haulm, Zola Blood and Zero7 with her minimalistic, adventurous style. Her performances are always unique and lively with humour always playing a big part. “You never know what you are going to get from molly when she walks up on stage, a comedy act, a show, or both! Either way her performances are incredibly endearing and ridiculously good fun, including the way she interacts with the audience.” Emilio Maestre Rico, ACM London production student

She has had many collaboration opportunities including that of Henry Binns from Zero 7, they created a song together in late 2016 with talk of making more than just one song in the future...

She is currently working with multiple producers to diversify her sound as much as possible and is working towards setting up a duo with one of her producers to release an album in the future.

Molly has spent the last two years at the Academy of Contemporary Music graduating with a 2.1 BA (Hons) in creative artistry and has gained a lot of experience working with other musicians in the industry.

It's always been a pleasure to work with Molly - an exceptional voice that draws the listener in and molly's taste in production is always pushing for creative wonkiness and honesty. Looking forward to seeing how the next months pan out.

Kieron Pepper, Head of Artist Development & Creative Output - ACM

Molly is a focused, hard working and passionate artist/musician. Her music has driving electronic beats with sub basses and atmospheric vocals. She displays a great use of technology in her live shows with the use of Ableton and the push controller. It has been a pleasure to teach and also work with her on some music. Craig Lowe, ACM Creative artist production lecturer
